About SimTrack

SimTrack is an independent tracker for PlayStation 5 emulation progress. We record what active open-source projects demonstrably do — releases, commits and sourced game results — so readers can tell real progress from marketing and fake download sites.

Editorial standards

  1. Every factual claim in our tables links to a primary source: a GitHub release note, a commit, a merged pull request or a repository README.
  2. We separate first-hand evidence (release notes) from second-hand developer reports, and label them differently.
  3. "Not reported" means the source gave no value. It is never rendered as zero.
  4. Absence from our logs means an evidence gap, not a proven incompatibility.
  5. Every table carries the date it was last checked, in UTC.
  6. Research and writing on this site uses AI assistance under human review; all claims are checked against the linked primary sources.

What we do not do

Funding and independence

The site may display advertising and affiliate links (for example, to PC hardware or PC game storefronts). These never determine what our evidence tables say. When a page contains affiliate links, they are the only commercial element and our compatibility evidence is unchanged by them.
